Scott Carle — President & CEO
Mr. Carle is the founder of East Coast Drilling & Blasting and oversees all aspects
of corporate operations. He is a graduate of the Colorado School of Mines, where
he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering.
John Simmons — Vice President, Service
Mr. Simmons is the shop supervisor and head mechanic responsible for preventative
maintenance and repairs of the company’s fleet of heavy equipment.
Robert McCollum — General Manager
Mr. McCollum supervises construction drilling operations to ensure all drilling
is done to the specifications of site plans. He is also responsible for the company’s
blasting program.
Michael Scharf — CFO
Mr. Scharf leads finance, accounting, and information technology on behalf of the
company. In this capacity, he oversees all facets of treasury, legal, audit, insurance,
and bonding.
Roger King — Estimator & Project Manager
Mr. King is responsible for locating work along the eastern seaboard, establishing
rock quantities, preparing estimates, managing projects, and coordinating the company’s
GPS program.
Jeff Kent — Regulatory Compliance
Mr. Kent oversees all facets of regulatory compliance on behalf of the company.
This includes safety, insurance, inventory control, and compliance with the regulations
of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF), the Occupational Safety and
Health Administration (OSHA), Homeland Security and Department of Transportation.
